Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and two years full-time experience in web design and development in a multi-department organization are required. Progressively responsible experience may substitute on a year for year basis for the required degree. Experience administering social media applications Successful results of a criminal background check are required Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred experience with graphical design, WordPress, Adobe Master Suite, SQL and web site administration.

 

Duties: The Web Administrator position is a 12-month full-time professional/managerial position. The Web Administrator will maintain internet resources including various web design and development tools, and social media applications. In addition, the Web Administrator will coordinate web page development with various departments, work with other departments for web sites and web-based interfaces, coordinate with personnel in the design and support of web technologies, and ensure that College standards are maintained on all internet servers in conjunction with technology committees. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service, people, listening, and organizational skills, be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public, and work effectively as a member of a team. This position reports to the Coordinator, Internet Systems.

Salary: $37,440.00 – $48,880.00
