Digital Marketing Assistant Job Description (Part-time)

Potential to become full time as department grows.

We are hiring an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to assist our busy sales team as we grow our digital department. You will report directly to the Digital Sales Manager and assist with all related tasks. You will perform administrative tasks, conduct market research, update the system database, create marketing literature, source (licensed) images and artwork, collate content, update online assets, oversee digital marketing production, and handle general digital marketing activities. And, always work to foster strong relationships with our clients and prospects.

To ensure success as a Digital Marketing Assistant, you should have familiarity with digital marketing techniques, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work to strict deadlines. Ultimately, a top-level Digital Marketing Assistant provides valuable assistance to the Digital Sales Manager and overall sales team.

Digital Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support the Digital Sales Manager with campaign coordination and organization.
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities. Including weekly report generation under direction of digital sales manager.
  • Conduct market research to ensure opportunities remain relevant and up to date with market demand.
  • Create content for ADX Digital Social Media & Website
  • Assist in Coordination of sales team trainings, webinars and in market seminars.
  • Employ online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
  • Assist in creating pitch decks for client meetings.
  • Manage campaign processes to ensure efficiency throughout research, pitch, pre-campaign, optimization and reporting.
  • Prepare promotional presentations and organize promotional events.
  • Compose and post online content for the company’s social media page and website.
  • Write marketing literature for company brochures and press releases.
  • Build strong relationships with fellow ADX staff and our customers.

Digital Marketing Assistant Requirements:

  • Either a Student Studying Marketing, Business or related field or already having bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, Google AdWords, and online analytics.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with WordPress website posting, editing, etc.
  • Be Organized, Self-Starter, Attention to Detail, motivated to succeed individual.
  • Ability to assist with content or creative assets development for various digital campaigns.
  • Work with Marketing Consultants on development, monitoring and reporting of digital campaigns.
  • Basic Graphic Design Ability appreciated.
  • Familiarity with Canva preferred.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential.
  • Work as liaison between Digital Sales Manager and third-party partners for fluid communication before, during and after each campaign.
  • Build, plan, and execute various marketing initiatives as assigned
  • Work in collaboration with the digital sales manager, ensuring accurate and consistent representation of the brand on all digital properties and channels.

Musts: Valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and proof of auto insurance

~15-20 Hours Per Week to start. Working up to full-time during 2022.
