Responsibilities:

The Webmaster/Digital Marketing/Communications Assistant will assist the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator with web development and project management of online content for University Health Services. The candidate should be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) for creating graphics and content for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Some of the tasks and expectations of the marketing assistant include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide project scheduling, coordination, and/or other project management support by maintaining project tracking spreadsheets and calendars.
Develop, implement and maintain University Health Services’ web pages using standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Perl/CGI and content management systems such as Drupal.
Collaborate with Marketing & Outreach Coordinator on technology needed for website projects.
Assist in the management of online content for University Health Services and its departments’ websites, including written content, graphics and video.
Assist in brainstorming ideas for the continued growth and effectiveness of social media platforms.
Help maintain a strong, engaging presence and consistent voice using University Health Services’ social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Creates graphic materials for campaigns, websites, and social media.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Follow instructions and adhere to FSU and UHS policy guidelines concerning privacy and security.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Enthusiastic interest in Social Media, Marketing Communications and Web Development.

Project experience, especially digital media.

Supreme work ethic.

Able to present projects and ideas to clients, professional staff, and student employees.

Excellent written and verbal skills, attentive to detail, and well-developed interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate, inspire, and direct students.

Comfortable working with diverse groups of people.

Strong organizational and creative skills.

Proficient with CSS, HTML.

Position requires pre-employment PPD (TB) and successful completion of post hire OSHA training.

Monday-Friday/Times vary-flexible 8am-5pm
