  • Assists Program Manager with daily tasks and short-term projects. Writes quality news releases, feature stories, and print material content for the Jim Moran Institute. Drafts language for print and online content such as press releases, website articles, rack cards, ads, emails, invitations, programs, and additional written content for Program Manager to review. Coordinates with regional directors on any collateral needs for their markets. Assembles quarterly newsletter to include regional and national programs, upcoming events and other need-to-know information for distribution to JMI’s external stakeholders.
  • Manages social media and digital presence. Creates posts for various social media accounts across multiple platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and content aggregators available on the market. Updates the JMI, Seminole 100, and Conference websites as needed. Drafts and edits email marketing messages and campaigns and assists with maintaining CRM and email database. Assists in the review and reporting of web and social media analytics for ROI.
  • Develops graphics for print and digital platforms, promotional items, and more using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva. Films, edits and posts video content as needed using video editing software.
  • Provides on-site support for the Jim Moran Institute’s national programs and select events. Works with Program Manager to serve as on-site point of contact for photographer/videographer and ensures that shot list and edits are consistent with expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
  • Knowledge of current media technology and trends.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
