Develop interactive web sites utilizing a strong fundamental knowledge of writing semantic, modular front end code using HTML (including HTML5), CSS3 and JavaScript. Must understand and demonstrate the concepts of progressive enhancement, and mobile first and future friendly design. Also, must be familiar with browser testing and debugging, have ample experience navigating Photoshop and saving images for the web. Utilize progressive iteration strategy as the fundamental workflow approach and have a good understanding of responsive design/development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review and convert Photoshop designed page layouts into responsive HTML landing pages
- Code the HTML for the page
- Post/update the code onto the client’s website
- Review and test your code for quality assurance and compatibility across multiple different website providers
- Editing and manipulating graphics in Photoshop will also be a task of the Responsive HTML Developer, when needed
- Work with the team having open communication, additionally taking the initiative with projects
Position Requirements
- Mastery of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver & Photoshop is required)
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Work to meet client and project deadlines
- Deep understanding and of responsive web design techniques
- Expertise across multiple modern build systems with expertise spanning several systems of relevance
- Experience defining technical project requirementsand designing/architecting complex, cross-functional solutions
- Skilled at bringing engaging user experiences/analytics to life using CSS transitions/animations.
- Strong familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus, etc) and understands their benefits and limitations in producing efficient, maintainable code.
- Expert understanding of high-throughput front-end performance and creating web elements that make efficient use of resources for many users
- Familiarity with web analytic systems and concepts
