AB+ Production is a digital marketing agency that is rapidly growing and looking for a Social Media Account Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing marketing policies and programs, marketing analysis, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase brand awareness. This role is very hands-on and reports directly to the CEO.
Core Competencies:
- MUST be computer savvy with a strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and able to navigate online data systems and forms
- MUST have a background of a min of 1-2 years of outside digital media sales including but not limited to SEO, Social Media marketing strategy, digital video marketing, email marketing, website sales, e-commerce, and text media marketing
- Creative spark – assists the CEO with the ability to design, create and deliver customized marketing proposals/presentations
- Present client solutions by building rapport and delivering results through integrated digital campaigns
- Gain referral business by providing support, information, and guidance, qualitative research, and recommending new opportunities for profit and/or service improvements
- Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, hyper-competitive marketing environment

Responsibilities:
1. Working with Client Accounts
- Onboarding new client accounts
- Complete the research for all of the new clients (website, social media, products & offers) to get knowledgeable about clients needs
- Working with clients on a day to day activities for the account they manage
- Get familiar with clients scope of work and act daily on all of the open tasks
- Plans the calendar at end of the month including holidays in advance for social media event promotion
- Show clients that you do research and understand their business needs.
- Proactively engaging with clients
- Providing comprehensive monthly performance reports.

2. Market research and strategy planning
- Research organization’s key goals.
- Develop Client’s Branding
- Invest time in researching and learning
- Identify client’s marketing challenges.
- Define the needs and understand the client’s vision to make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Make, execute and send a plan to the client for approval.
- Not just “play safe” all the time (experiment with different tactics)
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
3. Social Media Management
- Monthly Social Media Calendar Strategy & Creation
- Ongoing management of Social Media accounts (as per client needs)
- Social media management: creating, strategically planning, scheduling, analyzing, and engaging with content posted on a consistent basis
- The ongoing research, planning, and strategies campaigns focused to gain brand awareness, interest, intent, consideration, qualified traffic, and advocates for your business
- Monitoring and engagement, encouraging clients existing/new fans and followers to engage, share, comment & follow
4. Branding
- Together with graphic designers create a branding strategy. Create branding sheet guides for each of the clients
- Make changes to the existing branding sheet guides as per client requests
- Work together with the client and the graphic designer to always have the up to date branding strategy and design
5. Google My Business
- Create a new listing for the client’s Google My Business
- Manage, grow reviews and GMB local SEO
- Create weekly posts and enhance listing engagement
- Adding a clear call to the action area allows people to contact you right away
- Monitor and respond to all reviews
- Establish Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and measure actionable metrics
- Monitoring and Reporting of performance (Monthly Reports)
6. Engagement & Growth
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” while creating brand awareness
- Encourage existing and new fans and followers to engage, share and comment
- Growing organic reach & audience
- Monitor and respond to all of the messages and comments
7. Content Marketing
- Create and update monthly branded content marketing strategy creation
- Sharing valuable information and stunning visuals with your audience
- Create and re-purpose the content across different media and channels
- Content optimization and verification for all of the client pages on websites and social media platforms
- Research, create and test new call of action & hashtags for best performance
- Optimized High-quality micro-content videos (short clips, stories, memes, polls, reels) by using inhouse tools
8. Graphic Design
- Create the best strategy and design for the social media content creation
- Research and use optimized high-quality stock photography/images (stories, memes, polls, reels)
- Create compelling captions, motion graphics, logo branded images focused on building brand recognition
9. Lead Generation
- Lead Gen and Email
9. Email Marketing
- Write weekly marketing email campaigns for the accounts that you are managing to promote their products and offers
- Schedule weekly marketing emails in the email marketing tool
- On weekly basis check with the client if there are any priorities for the updated weekly email marketing campaigns
9. Analytics
- On a monthly basis create social media reports for all of the platforms that you are managing. Get all of the reports approved with the CEO before the reports get sent out.
- Review the social media reports and come up with recommendations on what needs to improve in order to increase views, engagement etc
- Metrics measurements that need to be tracked and reported on:
- Audience growth, followers, shares, insights, etc.
- Comments, Likes, Shares, @mentions, insights, etc.
- If the client’s social media is not improving then the content may not be working.
- Goals
- All of the reports must:
- EASY TO READ
- Provide data insights from data analysis.
- Identify and recommend trends.
10. Project Management
- Weekly updates to CEO on the status of all of the tasks assigned for each project
- Manage all of the client’s tasks and follow up items in the Project Management tracking tool
- Attend team meetings to discuss weekly tasks and priorities
